Depot Hill Wildflowers

DEPOT HILL
WILDFLOWERS
Depot Hill is only 12km NW of Mingenew.
It has a fantastic cross section of Wildflowers from carpets of everlastings to unusual orchids.
It was named after its use during WW2 as a army rifle range.
Up at the top of the walk are man-made trenches used for army training and these are where many of the unusual orchids live.
